Saul H. Brodman
Saul H. Brodman, 83, of Monroe Township died on June 20, 2015. He was born in Bayonne and lived for many years in East Brunswick before moving to Monroe in 1995.
Mr. Brodman retired as director of guidance services for the Township of Old Bridge. He spent many years as a Hebrew teacher at East Brunswick Jewish Center and Temple Shalom in Plainfield.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was an Associate member of the Alisa chapter of Hadassah and was chairman of the Jewish Federation in the Heart of NJ’s Greenbriar at Whittingham division, serving on other federation committees as well. He was also active in many endeavors at Greenbriar at Whittingham.
Predeceased by a son, Steven, he is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judith (Witt); a son, Alan; and a grandson.
Services were held June 22 with arrangements by Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown. Memorial contributions may be made to East Brunswick Jewish Center, Jewish Federation, or Hadassah.
