Sara Jane Harris
Sara Jane Harris, 75, of Naples, Fla., and Washington Crossing, Pa., died Feb. 18, 2011. Born in Newark, she was a former resident of Trenton, Titusville, and Yardley, Pa.
Mrs. Harris and her husband were the proprietors of Olden Paint and Carpet Stores before retiring.
An avid tennis and golf player who won numerous titles and awards, she and her husband were also philanthropic with many charities and institutions.
She is survived by her husband, Morris R.; three daughters, Vicki Gilgor of Bensalem, Pa., Lisa Buffington of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Cindy Harris of Langhorne, Pa.; a brother, Marvin Rothman; a sister, Florence Flaster; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 21 at Adath Israel Congregation, Lawrenceville, with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Smile Train, American Cancer Society, or American Heart Association.
