Sandra Kirschenbaum
Sandra Kirschenbaum, 84, of Lakewood died Nov. 30, 2013. Born in Newark, she resided in Colonia and Scotch Plains before moving to Lakewood 17 years ago.
Mrs. Kirschenbaum worked as a teacher’s aide at School #21 in Colonia.
She was involved with many community organizations and was an active fund raiser for Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital.
Predeceased in 2004 by her husband, Lawrence, she is survived by two sons, Howard (Sandy) of Georgetown, Mass., and David (Kim) of Edison; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 3 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Lakewood. Memorial contributions may be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital Foundation, 212 Trenton Rd., Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
