Samuela Perlman Hafitz
Samuela Perlman Hafitz, 86, of Titusville died March 24, 2011. Born in Trenton, she was a former resident of Lambertville.
Mrs. Hafitz was employed at the Gallup Organization, Katzenbach School for the Deaf, and Hertzel Zion Hebrew Academy and worked as a substitute teacher in the Trenton public school system.
She received her BA and MA in education from the University of Pennsylvania.
Predeceased by her husband, Julius J., she is survived by two sons, Michael of Millwood, NY, and Andrew of New York City; two daughters, Rebecca Hull of Bernardsville and Jeremie Hafitz Ross of Glen Ridge; a brother, Richard Perlman of Skillman; seven grandchildren; and her caregiver for 20 years, Hazel Myers Morgan.
Services were held March 27 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House, Ewing; or the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey (www.bianj.org).
