Samuel Schmidt
Samuel Schmidt, 91, of Monroe Township died April 2, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, he lived for the last 30 years at Concordia as well as Clearbrook Village in Monroe.
Mr. Schmidt spent many years as a furniture salesman for Bloomingdale’s in New York City.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
An avid tennis player for over 70 years, he was a member of the Tennis Club of Clearbrook.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Gloria Cohn, and her children.
Services were held April 5 with arrangements by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick.
