Samuel Bergerman

Samuel Bergerman, 74, of Livingston died Nov. 18, 2011. A lifelong New Jersey resident, he was born in Newark and lived in Livingston for almost 42 years.

Mr. Bergerman was the owner of Anglo-American, Ltd., Verona, for over 35 years. He was a member of the National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices and the Professional Insurance Agents.

He graduated from Rutgers University.

He was a member of Maplewood Country Club and Wycliffe Golf and Country Club, Wellington, Fla. He was also a member of Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston.

He is survived by his wife of almost 47 years, Hermine; his daughter, Jill Wishnew of Livingston; two sons, Matthew of Westfield and Adam of Livingston; and seven grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 21 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
