Samuel Arons
Samuel Arons, 90, of Delray Beach, Fla., died Oct. 10, 2012. Born in Newark, he lived in Irvington, Edison, and Toms River before settling in Florida in 2011.
Mr. Arons was a Certified Public Accountant.
He graduated from South Side High School in Newark and Rutgers University.
He served in the U.S. Army 83rd Signal Co. from 1941 to 1945 in Europe.
He was a member of Beth Am Shalom in Toms River. He was a lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris (Oaklander); two daughters, Cindi Arons of Lebanon, Conn., and Allison Tepper of Cincinnati; and two grandsons.
Services were held Oct. 12 with arrangements by Weiss Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach, Fla. Memorial contributions may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars, 500 Northeast 21st Ave., Boynton Beach, FL 33435 or Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
