Ruth Gold
Ruth G. Gold (Goldberger), 92, of Bridgewater died June 17, 2015. She was born in Manhattan and grew up on its Upper West Side. She lived in Perth Amboy and Elizabeth before settling in Clark, where she raised her family.
Mrs. Gold was an active member of Temple Beth O’r/Beth Torah in Clark and its sisterhood for many years. She was a lifetime member of Hadassah and served as co-president.
Predeceased by her husband, Harold, whom she married in 1954, she is survived by her son, Alan (Pnina Levine) of Arizona; two daughters, Jane (Jacob) Gutman of Bridgewater and the comedian Judith “Judy” Gold (Elysa Halpern) of New York City; and six grandchildren.
Services were held June 19 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
