Ruth Fisch
Ruth Fisch, 93, of West Orange died March 22, 2015. Born in Newark, she lived in Union and Springfield before moving to West Orange 14 years ago.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Fisch was an administrative assistant at Supermarkets General Corporation in Woodbridge for over 30 years.
A past president of ORT, she had twice served as sisterhood president of Congregation B’nai Israel, both of Irvington.
Predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Sidney, she is survived by three sons, Arthur Fisch, Mark Sofair-Fisch, and Daniel Fisch; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 23 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
