Ruth Barr
Ruth Barr, 92, of West Caldwell died Aug. 13, 2013. She lived in Livingston for almost 60 years until she moved to West Caldwell two years ago.
Mrs. Barr founded the nursery school at Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston and continued to substitute teach there until her late 80s. She participated in many Livingston activities and volunteered as a senior citizen at the Kessler Institute in West Orange.
She is survived by two daughters, Jane Barr Katz and Denise Koplan Olewine; and two grandsons.
Private services were held Aug. 16.
