Roy A. Lebovitz, 77, of Lake Worth, Fla., died Dec. 4, 2010. Born in Newark, he lived in Springfield, Chester, and West Orange before moving to Lake Worth in 2005.
For over 50 years, Mr. Lebovitz was a businessman who was employed by East Coast Warehouse & Distribution Corp., Safeway Trucking Corp., and Romark Logistics.
He graduated from Weequahic High School, Newark, and Upsala College.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Landsman); four daughters, Amy Sue Lebovitz of Springfield, Sheri Lebovitz of Cedar Grove, Jane Herz of Tucson, Ariz., and Beth Lebovitz of Chatham; his son, Marc of Bernardsville; a sister, Joan Odze of Coral Springs, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 7 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
