Rose V. Rosenfeld

Rose V. Rosenfeld, 92, of Hillsborough died July 7, 2011. Born and raised in Newark, she lived in Bridgewater and Maplewood before moving to Hillsborough in 2009.

Mrs. Rosenfeld was employed as a bookkeeper for South Orange Lumber Co. and Essex County Geriatrics Home.

She was a member of B’nai B’rith Women’s Association, Jewish Women International, and the Birnbaum JCC in Bridgewater, where she belonged to the Golden Age Club and enjoyed playing mah jongg.

Predeceased by her husband, William, in 1994, she is survived by her son, Alan; her daughter, Phyllis; a brother, Philip Kopp; a sister, Ann Bernstein; and two grandchildren.

Services were held July 8 with arrangements by Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, Somerville. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Women International or Temple Beth-El in Hillsborough.
