Rose Cohen

Rose Cohen (Corn) of Atlanta died July 27, 2014. She was born in Philadelphia and lived for 70 years in Ewing before moving to Atlanta three and a half years ago. 

Mrs. Cohen worked for Wilton and Schneider for seven years before marrying and moving to the Trenton area. 

She graduated from Simon Gratz High School in Philadelphia. 

An active supporter of Greenwood House in Ewing, she served Women for Greenwood House in many capacities, including as president, and was honored after three decades of service as its Woman of the Year. She also volunteered for the Women’s Campaign of Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks and was honored for her work in 2002 at the annual Spring Luncheon. She lived for three decades in the Cambridge Hall community, where she served on its board of trustees. 

Predeceased by her husband, Leon, she is survived by two sons, Robert and Kenneth (Lori), both of Atlanta; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. 

Services were held July 31 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House.
