Rose Chait
Rose Chait (Freitag) of Elizabeth died Sept. 23, 2015. Born in Poland, she immigrated to Montreal before the age of 10, moving to Elizabeth after her marriage.
Mrs. Chait worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Her last employment was with Bowman Trucking, Elizabeth.
Predeceased by her husband of 65 years, George, in 2011, she is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Rita) of Princeton; her daughter, Donna Wegener of Chatham, Mass.; two brothers, Harry and Phil Freitag, both of Montreal; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 25 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
