Rose Axelrod
Rose Axelrod (Halper), 102, of West Orange died Jan. 1, 2014. She was born in Newark.
Mrs. Axelrod was retired as a bookkeeper for Jabel Jewelry Manufacturers, formerly of Irvington, where she worked for 30 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Michele (Fred) Rosenthal of Marblehead, Mass.; a brother, Irv (Lenore) Halper; two other sisters-in-law, Elaine Halper and Martha Halper; and a granddaughter.
Services were held Jan. 5 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Dover. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Family Service of MetroWest.
