Rosamond Taub Cobert, 90, of Monroe Township died Jan. 21, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, she resided there before moving to Monroe 19 years ago.
Mrs. Cobert was active in the sisterhood at Flatbush Jewish Center, Brooklyn, and was a lifetime member of Hadassah.
Predeceased by her husband, Milton L., she is survived by two sons, Mitchell (Kathryn) of Morristown and Jonathan (Wendy) of Chappaqua, NY; her daughter, Tamara (Edward) Faggen of Fairfax, Va.; two sisters, Florence Stein of Meadow Lakes and Esther Goldfarb of Monroe; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 23 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish War Veterans of the U.S., 1811 R St. NW, Washington, DC 20009; or American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
