Rosalind Markson
Rosalind Markson (Farbman), 92, of Freehold died March 22, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Long Beach, NY, for over 40 years before moving to Freehold in 2000.
Mrs. Markson was director of admissions for The Tides and The Grandell, both health-care facilities in Long Beach for 18 years, retiring 25 years ago.
She was active in the Applewood Community.
Predeceased by her husband, Yale, in 1991, she is survived by two sons, Barry of Manalapan and Stephen of Coventry, Conn.; a sister, Pearl Selter of Brooklyn; and two grandchildren.
Services were held March 25 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan. Memorial contributions may be made to Applewood Estates Scholarship Fund, c/o CSHC System Foundation, 916 Highway #33, Suite #6, Industrial Park Building, Freehold, NJ 07728.
