Rosalie Goodman (Schlesinger) of Jackson died Jan. 27, 2014. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., she was the second youngest of nine siblings. She moved to Queens as a teenager and to Long Branch after her marriage. After retirement she spent 18 years in Florida before returning to the Shore area in 1995.
Mrs. Goodman worked for Dr. Alvin Fried in West Long Branch.
She was a member of Hadassah.
Predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Milton, and seven siblings, she is survived by two daughters, Paula (Steve) Bass of Jackson and Betty June (Al) Feuchtwanger of Monroe Township; a brother, Seymour Schlesinger of Palm Desert, Calif.; three grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 29 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Torat El, Oakhurst, or Temple Beth Shalom, Manalapan.
