Ronald Stromfeld

Ronald J. Stromfeld of Columbus, Ohio, died Jan. 7, 2016. He was born in Newark and was a longtime resident of Columbus. 

Mr. Stromfeld operated a Pro Shop, where he sold bowling equipment and gave lessons to bowling hopefuls. He became a member of the Bowling Hall of Fame in St. Louis. He won several bowling tournaments in the Midwest; his bowling career was highlighted by rolling 12 perfect games in documented competition. 

He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. 

He is survived by two nieces, Debbie Krouse of Rockaway and Donna Zweigbaum of East Hanover; a brother-in-law, Warren Goldfein of Randolph; and several cousins. 

Services were held Jan. 12 with arrangements by Eden Memorial Chapels, Fort Lee.
