Roland Weisenfeld

Roland Weisenfeld, 92, of Pittsburgh and Gloucester, Mass., died July 31, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Livingston for nearly 50 years before moving to Pittsburgh in 2001.

Mr. Weisenfeld was co-owner of Beller Electric Company. He turned his hobby of creating handmade furniture into a full-time business, designing and building thousands of tables and other pieces of high-end furniture that he and his wife sold at craft shows in the Northeast for 30 years.

He graduated from Columbia University School of Pharmacy.

An avid fisherman, he spent 52 summers visiting his favorite spots in Gloucester, Mass.

Predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Beller, he is survived by his daughter, Judith Weinberg; his son, Robert; and three grandchildren.
