Roberta Grayson
Roberta Grayson (Albert) of Scotch Plains died Dec. 9, 2014. Born in Hoboken, she resided in Westfield before moving to Scotch Plains in 1983.
Mrs. Grayson was the director of the Union County Paratransit System for 20 years before retiring 10 years ago. Prior to that, she was president of the Union County Board of Taxation for six years, and was also an assistant to Union County Democratic Party Chair Christopher Dietz for 12 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Bernard L., in 1989, she is survived by her son, Jeffrey of Plainfield; a sister, Lynn Albert of Springfield; a brother, Stuart Albert of Boca Raton, Fla.; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services were held Dec. 12 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
