Robert Schram

Robert C. Schram, 67, of Union died Oct. 6, 2012. Born in Newark, he lived there before moving to Union 42 years ago.

Mr. Schram was a certified public accountant with Levine, Jacobs & Co., Livingston, for over 30 years. He simultaneously maintained a private CPA practice in Union for over 45 years.

A graduate of Weequahic High School in Newark, he earned a BS in economics from Rutgers University, Newark, and furthered his education by studying accounting at Seton Hall University, South Orange.

He was a member of the men’s club of Temple Israel of Union, and ran the Union County chapter of the Heart Fund.

He is survived by his wife, Myra (Slovin); his son, Howard of Colonia; and his daughter, Stacey Schram of Union.

Services were held Oct. 10 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
