Robert Lantz, 85, of Mesa, Ariz., died July 1, 2015. Born and raised in New York City, he moved to Dover after his marriage in 1957 and to Chester in 1965, where he lived for 40 years.
Mr. Lantz worked at Picatinny Arsenal in Wharton, retiring in 1993 after 37 years.
He graduated from City College of New York with a degree in chemistry in 1951.
He was a Korean War veteran, having been stationed in Japan in 1954.
Among his interests were woodworking, jewelry making, gardening, winemaking, cooking, sewing, and stamp collecting.
Predeceased by his wife, Helen Rosenbloom Lantz, he is survived by two daughters, Alison (Jerry) and Lauren (Robert) Weinberg, both of Virginia; his son, Adam (Sheree) of New Jersey; a brother, Irving of Florida; and four grandchildren.
Services were held July 5 with arrangements by Weinstein Memorial Chapel, Yonkers, NY.
