Robert Farkas
Robert U. Farkas, 85, of La Jolla, Calif., died Feb. 22, 2016. He was formerly of West Orange.
Mr. Farkas was president of the Herbert L. Farkas Company, a source of office and school furniture on the East Coast. In 1975 he founded Roberts Rents, a provider of residential rental furniture in Beverly Hills and the greater Los Angeles area. He retired in 2010.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Myrna; two daughters, Barbara Miller and Nancy Farkas; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in La Jolla in the spring.
