Rita Langer
Rita Langer (Frank), 89, of Monroe Township died April 2, 2016. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a resident of Massapequa, NY, from 1956 until 2014, when she moved to Monroe.
Mrs. Langer worked for over 30 years as a civil engineer for the City of New York.
She was one of three women to graduate from the engineering program of City College of New York, class of 1948.
Predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Leon, she is survived by two sons, Corey (Mindy) of Princeton Junction and Glen (Jennifer) Langer of Commack, NY; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services were held April 6 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Planned Parenthood.
