Richard Steinberg
Richard M. Steinberg, 81, of Livingston died Aug. 18, 2017. He lived in Livingston for the past 57 years and spent winters in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., for the past six years.
Mr. Steinberg was the owner of Maximum Subrogation and Recovery, LLC in Livingston.
He attended Hillside High School and Bowling Green University in Ohio.
As an artist, he was a member of the NJ Designer Craftsmen, creating jewelry. In more recent years, he created handcrafted pieces of furniture. As a wine enthusiast and collector, he was a member of Chainie des Rotisseurs, Chevaliers du Tastevin, and the Essex County Food and Wine Association.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; his son, Russel Allen (Wendy); his daughter, Dina del Amo (Martin Warman); a brother, Paul; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 20 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
