Richard Slimowitz
Richard Slimowitz of Milford died Dec. 31, 2017. He was born in Newark.
Mr. Slimowitz was retired as an oncology pharmacist at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
He was a graduate of Weequahic High School, Newark, and received his professional degree from the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy.
He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps with distinction as a first lieutenant.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his daughter, Ila of Colorado; his son, Philip of Virginia; a brother, Donald of Livingston; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 2 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
