Richard K. Gordon, 82, of Scotch Plains died July 15, 2015. Born in Boston, he was a resident of Scotch Plains for 53 years.
Mr. Gordon owned Berkeley Heights Pharmacy and was employed by Pharmatec for many years.
He graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and studied at Case Western Reserve.
He was a member of the Rahway Valley Barbershop Quartet, Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains, and the senior adult group of the JCC of Central NJ in Scotch Plains. He was also a Mason with the Jerusalem Lodge in Plainfield.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Myrna; three sons, Peter (Dawn), Michael (Jill), and Eric; his daughter, Andrea (David) Harris; a brother, Kenneth of Orleans, Mass.; seven grandchildren; and his caregiver, John Davis.
Services were held July 17 with arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home, Fanwood. Memorial contributions may be made to the JCC’s senior adult program.
