Richard H. Bruskin, 91, of Somerset died June 25, 2015. He was born in New Brunswick and also had lived in Boynton Beach, Fla.
Mr. Bruskin graduated from Rutgers University, class of 1947.
He worked in the field of market research, starting three companies: AdverTest Research; R.H. Bruskin Associates, Inc., which grew to be one of the leading research firms in the country; and, ultimately, Bruskin Marketing.
He served in the Army and was decorated for his service during World War II.
He was an active member of many trade organizations and a supporter of Rutgers University Athletics.
Predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy Gottleib Bruskin, he is survived by his son, David (Eve); two daughters, Nancy and Audrey (Jeffrey); a brother, Stanley; and six grandchildren.
Services were held June 28 with arrangements by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple or Rutgers University, New Brunswick.
