RICE-SMITH
Ellen and Jay Rice of Roseland and Hilton Head, SC, announce the engagement of their daughter, Dara Lynn, to Raul Guillermo Smith of Miami Beach, son of Lisette Ruiz of Key Biscayne, Fla., and Raul Luis Smith of Sunny Isles, Fla.
Ms. Rice received her BA from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn. She is marketing director for In House Ideas, a marketing and event planning firm in Miami Beach.
Mr. Smith received his BS from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He is a director of Alvarez and Marsal, a financial consulting firm based in New York.
A spring 2015 wedding is planned.
