Rhoda Staub
Rhoda Staub, 88, of Dedham, Mass., died Feb. 23, 2017. She was formerly of Mountainside and lived in New Jersey for more than 50 years.
Mrs. Staub was a special education teacher for several years before going on to work in counseling and eventually as a real estate agent.
She graduated from New York University and received a master’s degree from Upsala College.
She was an active board member and volunteer at Jewish Family Service and a docent at Newark Museum for more than 20 years. She was a member of Temple Emanu-El in Westfield.
She and her husband lived for several years in Hong Kong and traveled extensively through Asia and the rest of the world.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Murray; two daughters, Margie and Janet; her son, Michael; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 26 with arrangements by Levine Chapels, Brookline, Mass.
