Rhoda Eisdorfer
Rhoda Eisdorfer (Shapin), 82, of Verona died Dec. 24, 2010. Born in the Bronx, she lived for the past 56 years in Verona.
Mrs. Eisdorfer was an elementary school teacher for the Verona Board of Education for 20 years, retiring 25 years ago.
She was a graduate of Hunter College in New York City, where she received a bachelor’s degree in education.
She was a member of Congregation Agudath Israel of West Essex and its sisterhood, Caldwell, and Hadassah.
She is survived by her husband, Maxwell; three sons, Arthur of Ewing, Bruce of Flanders, and Gary of Bellaire, Md.; a sister, Florence Shernoff of Vero Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 28 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton.
