Reginald Tauben
Reginald Samuel Tauben, 94, of West Caldwell died March 19, 2018. He lived in Livingston for 60 years before moving to West Caldwell five years ago.
Mr. Tauben retired in 1989 from Fieldcrest-Cannon as manager of marketing research. He had previously worked in a similar capacity at Prudential Insurance, Rayco, RJ Reynolds Food, American Chicle, Warner Lambert, and Bristol Myers Squibb.
He was a combat veteran of U.S. Anti-Aircraft, 12th Army Group, serving in Europe during World War II, including the Battle of the Bulge, as the generals’ interpreter aligned with the French Resistance. After his discharge, he returned to college and later earned an M.B.A. from CUNY.
He served as a trustee of Temple Emanu-El in Livingston.
Predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Carol, he is survived by his daughter, Rolayn of Berkeley, Calif.; his son, David of Seattle; and four grandchildren.
