Raymond Louis Schaffer
Raymond Louis Schaffer, 95, of North Wales, Pa., died Jan. 13, 2011. Born in Jersey City, he lived in North Arlington and for many years in Springfield before moving to North Wales several years ago.
Mr. Schaffer was the owner of William Schaffer & Sons in Jersey City for over 50 years.
He was a member of the Jewish War Veterans’ Elin Unger Post and the men’s club of Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael, both of Springfield.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Zlotkes); two sons, Mark of Rockaway and David of North Wales; her daughter, Susan Rosensweet-Schaffer of Lutherville, Md.; and 13 grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 16 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
