Rabbinical College of America to honor Wilf, Snyder Murphy
THE RABBINICAL COLLEGE of America (RCA) will hold its annual National Founders’ Gala on Thursday, May 16, at the Robert Treat Center in Newark. The event will honor Zygmunt Wilf, long-time trustee of the college, and New Jersey’s First Lady Tammy Snyder Murphy for their leadership, care, and service to the community at-large.
“In the course of close to 50 years, I watch with amazement how this generation [is] following in the footsteps of their parents, continuing their great work for the good of the community, for the good of the country, for the good of Israel and the Jewish people,” said Rabbi Moshe Herson, dean of the Rabbinical College.
The RCA is headquarters for 59 Chabad centers through the state. Alumni include Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein, leader of Chabad of Poway in California, and Rabbi Yonah Fradkin, Chabad of San Diego’s regional director.
