Press and the pres.
Regarding your editorial “‘Enemy of the people’” (Feb. 23), I agree that a free press is necessary for a free democracy to survive. What NJJN and Senator John McCain missed were the words honest and fair. The press has been anything but honest and fair. Only when they include the semblance of honesty and fairness will they get the majority of the people on their side. In the meantime their approval rating is falling and only small-minded people will agree with their interpretation of the president’s efforts. Until NJJN sees the light, please concentrate on areas that affect the Jewish community such as the increase of anti-Semitic acts that impact our cemeteries and synagogues.
