Phyllis Gardner

Phyllis M. Gardner (Shenker) of Springfield died Feb. 18, 2012. Born in New York City, she resided in Union for many years before moving to Springfield 18 years ago.

Mrs. Gardner was the owner and operator of PMG Corporation, a home health-care company located in Union for more than 20 years, before retiring in 1993.

She was a member of Temple Israel and B’nai B’rith Women, both of Union.

Predeceased by her husband, Frank H., in 1990, she is survived by two sons, Robert of Annapolis, Md., and Alan of Union; two sisters, Charlotte Cohen of South Carolina and Lucille Anker of Long Island, NY; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 19 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to: COPD Foundation, 2937 SW 27th Ave., Suite 302, Miami, FL 33133.
