Philip Prince
Philip A. Prince of Cedar Grove died Aug. 6, 2014. He was born in 1928.
Mr. Prince owned and operated Arrpaco, an industrial packaging business in Newark.
He was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and Upsala College.
After his military service, he was discharged with a laudatory testimonial from the U.S. Navy in 1947.
He was among the founding families of Temple Sholom of West Essex in Cedar Grove.
Predeceased by his wife, Geraldine, in 2008, he is survived by his son, Eric of Cedar Grove; his daughter, Malory Prince Shank of Arlington, Texas; a brother, Barry of Florida; and two granddaughters.
Services were held Aug. 8 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Cedar Grove.
