Philip Charles Grand

Philip Charles Grand, 71, of Convent Station died Aug. 3, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Maplewood for more than 40 years before moving to Convent Station in 2005.

Mr. Grand retired after 25 years in the builder division of Admiral Corporation of East Rutherford. He then became a financial planner with Stifel Nicolaus of Florham Park.

He was a member of Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel of South Orange.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Susan (Shilling); two daughters, Pam Frank of Lawrenceville and Stacey Tuohy of Yardley, Pa.; three grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

Services were held Aug. 5 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to LCK Pancreatic Fund, c/o Cathy Richman, 5 Evergreen Road, Summit, NJ 07901.
