Pearl Sklaw (Harris), 87, of Melbourne Beach, Fla., died June 3, 2013. Born in Newark, she lived in Clifton and in Merrimack, NH, before moving to Melbourne Beach 30 years ago.
Mrs. Sklaw was a longtime bookkeeper whose employment over the years included working at Ahavas Israel in Passaic.
She graduated from Weequahic High School, Newark.
She held many sisterhood board positions at Temple B’nai Israel in Nutley.
Predeceased by her husband of almost 60 years, Coleman, she is survived by three daughters, Harriet Sklaw of Nutley; Carol (John) Donkersloot of Bloomingdale, and Nancy Levine of Seattle; her son, Leonard of Ringwood; and two granddaughters.
Private services were held at King Solomon Cemetery in Clifton.
