Paul Schindler, 89, of Maplewood died Sept. 5, 2010. Born in the Bronx, he resided in Millburn most of his life before moving to Maplewood three years ago.
Mr. Schindler was employed as an engineer for the U.S. Government at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover.
He graduated from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute.
He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Rabin); three sons, Robert of Cherry Hill, Donald of Seattle, and Kenneth of Chatham; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 7 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
