Nover-Barbag

Barbara and Ed Zinbarg of Short Hills and Jackie and Jack Nover of South Orange announce the marriage of their granddaughter, Amanda Nover, to Alex Barbag on Sept. 3, 2017.

The bride is the daughter of Liz and David Nover of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The groom is the son of Candy and Harvey Barbag of Boca Raton, Fla., and the grandson of Mildred Jacobs.

Rabbi Josh Beraha of Temple Micah, Washington, D.C., and the bride’s friend Cantor Laura Stein officiated at Capitol View Rooftop, Washington.

Mrs. Barbag, a graduate of Tufts University, earned a master’s degree in public administration from The George Washington University, Washington. She is the director of special events for Food & Friends in Washington.

Mr. Barbag is a graduate of University of Florida and earned an additional degree in computer science from University of Maryland. He is a software engineer for Marriott International and a stand-up comedian, creating a YouTube web series, “Safe for Work,” with his wife.
