Norman Kohn, 91, of Lakewood died Feb. 2, 2011. He was born in Newark.
Mr. Kohn was employed as a salesman for Maxon Pontiac in Union.
Awarded the Purple Heart during his U.S. Army service in World War II, he was past commander of the Jewish War Veterans’ Elin Unger Post 273.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Levine); two daughters, Wendy Best of Brick and Susan Racanelli of Pocono Summit, Pa.; his son, Hal of Belle Meade; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 4 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
