Norman Goldstein
Norman Goldstein, 89, of Westfield died April 4, 2014. Born in Newark, he lived in Union before moving to Westfield in 1959.
Mr. Goldstein, a self-employed Certified Public Accountant, previously served as a CPA for Gilbert Sunshine in Jersey City for many years before retiring.
He earned a BS in accounting from Rutgers University, Newark. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II. He was a member of Temple Emanu-El of Westfield.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Edith (Moskowitz); two daughters, Carol (Steven) Nussbaum of Short Hills and Joyce (Steven) Sowa of Woodbridge; a sister, Janet Chernus of Livingston; and three grandchildren.
Services were held April 7 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
