Norman S. Frish, 87, of Livingston died March 31, 2016. He was born in Newark.
Mr. Frish pursued a career in apparel manufacturing, first with a company in New York City and later owning and managing his own factories in New Jersey, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica.
He graduated from Weequahic High School, Newark, in 1945 and attended Rutgers University and the Fashion Institute of Technology, earning a degree in pattern making and design.
An avid photographer who traveled around the world, he won many awards and citations for his works.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Myrna; three sons, Cliff, Mickey, and Andy; daughters-in-law Barbara and Susan; a sister, Billie Gross of Sun City, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 3 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
