Norman Citron
Norman Citron, 87, of Atlanta died April 21, 2014. Born in Newark, he lived in New Jersey before settling in Atlanta.
Mr. Citron worked at Ted Colangelo Associates in advertising before retiring in 1998.
He had a passion for art and was taking classes at Chastain Art Center shortly before his death. He created sculptures and paintings using oils, acrylics, and charcoal.
Predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Lynn; he is survived by two daughters, Jodi (Joseph) Scially and Bari Citron of Hampton, Long Island; a brother, Ron of Verona; and two grandchildren.
Services were held April 23 with arrangements by Dressler’s Jewish Funeral Care, Atlanta. Memorial contributions may be made to Chastain Art Center, Spruill Center for the Arts, the Marcus JCC of Atlanta’s Weinstein Preschool, or the Preschool of Congregation B’nai Torah, Atlanta.
