NJ exhibit
In the article on the donation of Marcia Marx’s paintings to the Holocaust Council of Greater MetroWest (“‘Unsettling’ art added to Shoa
council trove,” April 21), the artist’s brother Kelly Marx, quoted in the article, neglected to mention that The Jewish Museum of New Jersey mounted an exhibit of Marcia Marx’s paintings, “The Holocaust: A Retrospective,” in April-May 2009.
The exhibit was curated by Matt Gosser and the paintings were on loan from Kelly Marx and Marcia’s son Greg Bennett. The Jewish Museum of NJ was the first and only institution to exhibit the paintings in New Jersey after they were displayed in Houston.
