Merwin and Elaine Nelkin
Elaine and Merwin Nelkin of Springfield celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 14, 2017. They marked the occasion with dinner and a show with their children, Randi and Steven Plotkin of Florham Park and Mindi and David Kaunfer of Springfield; and their six grandchildren, Andrew (Becca), Kyle, Corey, Julie, and Adam.
Mr. Nelkin owned and operated Avon Drum Corp for 30 years until his semi-retirement in 2002. He then became Night Recovery Manager for The Star-Ledger in Newark until his retirement.
Mrs. Nelkin worked as a legal secretary for many years.
