Neil Roth

Neil Michael Roth, DMD, 69, of Colts Neck died Aug. 1, 2014. He was born in Sioux Falls, SD, where his father was stationed as a major in the Army Air Corps during World War II.

Dr. Roth practiced dentistry in South Amboy for over 40 years, a business that once belonged to his father, Alexander. He also ran Garden State Foliage with his partner, Zsolt Kruppa.

He was a diplomate for the American Board of Orofacial Pain and served as a member of its Examination Council. He was awarded a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He was an active member in the New Jersey and American dental associations, and served as both trustee and vice president for the Middlesex County Dental Society. He was also the founder of Hudson County Heart Association’s CPR program.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sue Corotis Roth; his son, Matthew; and his daughter, Sydney (fiance Jayson Seidman).

Services were held Aug. 3 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
