Negotiate with whom?

I am writing in regard to the article “The Gatekeepers stirs debate at  Montclair shul.”

I would have been more upset  if I had been identified as the lone dissenter. I was quoted correctly but misinterpreted. Conflict resolution, mediation, keeping your enemies closer, etc. are philosophies I believe in. My question was an honest albeit naive one: How do we negotiate in good faith with people who want to annihilate us? Who is in charge of the Palestinians? Yes, we have to have a two-state compromise but it is fraught with danger. The Palestinians don’t seem to be united with one spokesperson. The debate could have gone on all night; we at Shomrei Emunah are continuing it.
